You cannot get the whole picture of the person by looking only at one piece. You need each of their pieces and the Autism to get the clearer picture. When creating this logo, I was looking for something that truly represented my son, and the uniform, cookie-cutter puzzle pieces didn't quite capture everything that he is.
He is more than his Autism, however, to underrepresent Autism in this design would still miss the mark. Each piece on its own, cannot fully define a person. Multiple pieces in the wrong spaces still won't fit the right way. However, when it all aligns, everything makes sense
